4 Ways on How to Stay Positive During The Pandemic
When the news is all doom and gloom—as it has been since the outbreak of the coronavirus— it’s hard for even the most optimistic among us to stay positive while feeling “trapped" at home. Here are some helpful tips on how to stay positive and grounded.

Limit your intake.
You could watch 24-hour news channels, or visit countless websites and be bombarded with the angst of the moment, instead, choose a single news source and decide how much limited time you’ll spend with it each day. This is extremely important to maintain a healthy and balanced mindset.

Follow a “calm yet cautious” approach
I know it may be difficult at times, but do you best to remain calm and be mindful not to contribute to the widespread panic that can hinder efforts to positively manage the outbreak. Instead focus on the directives that have been issued by our health administration and continue to practice good hygiene habits.

Show compassion and kindness to one another
In  these times of fear, isolation (both physical and social) and uncertainty are when it is most important that we strengthen our sense of community by connecting with and supporting each other. Look after your neighbors, support a local business, send gifts in the mail. Stay grounded and get creative!

Manage your wellbeing.
Remember you can't be of any assistance to others, if you don't take care of yourself first.  Do your best to  maintain your routine where possible, connect with family and friends (even if not in person), stay physically active, eat nutritious foods and seek additional support and guidance when needed.
